Description: Woody herb or subshrub, clibbing-scrambling over trees and low-storey vegetation. Leaves petiolate or uppermost subsessile; lamina 4.5 - 1.5 X 1 - 5 cm, ovate to ovate-oblong, acute to shortly acuminate, base rounded or tapering into petiole, entire to crenate-denticulate, glabrous or pubescent on prominent midrib beneath, less so on lateral veins; stipules not tubular or ochreate, 1.5 - 4 cm long. Flowers white to occasionally pinkish-white, few culsters together into loosely-flowered, slender pedunculate, capitulum; inflorescence terminally corymbose with ultimate branches having common peduncle terminate by 1 - 3 (-5) pedunculate capitula; stamens 7 - 8. Fruit trigonous-ovoid, not shiny, greysh blach with short beak.
