A large shrub very much branched form the base. Leaves 4 - 7 cm (or more) on short erect curved petioles, broadly oval, rounded at base, obtusely acuminate, entire, glabrous, shiny above, bright apple green, rather paler beneath. Flowers c. 2 cm or short, curved pedicels, solitary or rarely 2 - 3 in axils.
