Description: Trees, sometimes attaining 40 m. leaves elliptic to elliptic-oblong, sometimes slightly obovate, (5 -) 7 - 10 (- 15) X (1.5 -) 2 - 3 (- 5) cm, chartaceous, above and below glabrous, apex acute to acuminate, base obtuse to cuneate. Flowering axes 1 - 3 (- 9), up to 4 cm long. Fruitlets 2.5 - 3 mm long, slightly pubescent, crowned by calyx remnants.
