Description: Small or medium-sized, glabrous tree. Branches glaucous green with the leaves often crowded at the end of a year???s growth. Leaf-blade 14 - 20 cm long and 4 - 10cm wide, widest in or frequently above the middle, tapering to the base, rounded or faintly acuminate and obtuse at the apex, coriaceous, shining; reticulate venation loosely meshed, slightly impressed on upper and very faintly raised on under side or not sculptured on either surface. Merocarps about 6 cm long and 4 cm in diameter, glabrous, bright yellow when ripe.
