| Description: |
Shrub or small tree; branchlets angular, often purplish when young, with single axillary spines. Leaves elliptic- ovate to ovate-lanceolate; petiole short, more or less wingless. Inflorescence short racemose, few-flowered. Flower buds large, purplish. Fruit ovoidto oblong, yellow; pulp greenish or pale, juice acid to mild acid. Seeds numerous, 9-10 mm long, half as wide, plump.
