Description: Shrub or small tree to 3 m tall. Leaves alternate, leaflets usually 5 or 3, rarely 7, very rarely 2 or 1, mostly 6 - 24 cm long, to 7 cm wide, narrowly elliptic or oblong-elliptic, acuminate at both ends, sometimes slightly lanceolate or oblanceolate, usually paler and often almost whitish beneath. Inflorescence axillary, paniculate, elongated. Fruit subglobose, white to pink, commonly 1- but sometimes 2- or even 3-seeded. Seeds round to plano-convex, suboblong, green.
