Small shrub, about 20-40 cm high; Prickles numerous, bright yellow. Leaves deeply pinnately lobed, 6-10 cm long, 5-9 cm wide; petiole about half length of the length. Inflorescences few-flowered, up to 10 cm long. Pedicels about 1 cm long; corolla violet, about 2 cm diameter. Fruits spherical, yellow, about 2 cm diameter.
