Description: Tree to 10 m tall. Leaf blade ovte to elliptic, sometimes narrowly so, obtuse to rounded or sometimes subcordate at bese, rounded to obtuse to sometimes acute at the apex, the margins more or less repand, remotely and minutely glandular. Panicles terminal and axillary, erect, large, much-branched, multiflorous, the axes densely lepidote, flowers pink-white. Capsules surrounded at the base by the persistent calyx and filaments, obovoid.
