Description: Erect perennial herbs. Leaves c. 10 - 12 cm long, deeply pinnatisect, puberulous or glabrescent above, greyish lanate tomentose beneath, bearing 3 pairs of lateral segments 3 - 5 cm long, segments elliptic, simple or irregularly pinnatifid and bearing 1 or 2 secondary lobes. Capitula + pendulous, 1.5 mm diam. achenes brown, c. 0.75 mm long.
