Perennial herb; stems procumbent, 15-45 cm long. Leaf lamina1.5-7 x 0.75-4 cm, margins serrate, coarsely inside-dentate or trilobite, hirsute on both surfaces; petioles up to 3 cm long. Capitula solitary, peduncles 10-20 cm long. Involucre 7-10 mm diameter; outer phyllaries 3.5-6 mm long, 2-3.5 mm broad. Achenes blackish, 2-2.5 mm long. Pappus about 20, 4.5-6.5 mm long.
