Description: Large trees at maturity, branching widely at top; bark smooth, light brownish-grey. Leaves odd-pinnate; leaflets 13 - 19, elliptic-oblong to obovate, 5 - 9 X 3 - 4.5 cm, base rounded, apex acuminate, margin entire, glabrous above, paler beneath, petiole and rachis sparsely pubescent. Inflorescence on a stout peduncle; bract at base of petiole; calyx golden-brown, velutinous, corolla bright reddish-orange without; tube yellowish-orange within, red spots and strips prominent within.
