| Description: |
Scandent shrub up to 5 m tall. Outer bark reticulate, striate, minutely pustular with numerous lenticels. Leaf scars very prominent. Leaf rachis + petiole 4.5 cm long, obscurely pulvinate and wrinkled at base. Leaflets 3 or 5, ovate oblong, more or less obtuse or rounded at base, subacuminate to caudate at tip, often twisted at apex. Flowers in terminal erect, irregularly pyramidal paniculate cymes. Fruit an irregularly obovoid follicle, fusiform, compressed.
