Description: Tree 5 - 20 m tall. Leaves lamina 35 - 60 ( -72)x 12.5 - 19.5 cm, spathulate-lanceolate, apex shortly acuminate, narrowly cuneate towards base, minutely serrate-denticulate especially towards the apex, or at times subentire, coriaceous, glabrous, 22 - 27 pairs of lateral veins. Inflorescence racemose from 2/3 to much longer than leaves, monoecious, male flower soon shed. Fruit 3-lobed with 1 lobe frequently undeveloped. Seeds c. 1.5 cm diameter, subspherical, pale brown, glabrous.
