Description: Glabrous shrub 2 - 5 m high, monoecious. Leaves lamina (5-) 10 - 15 (22) X 3 - 4 (-5) mm, oblong or linear, obtuse or apiculte at tip, obtuse or rounded at base, margins plane. Flowers in axillary glomerules on deciduous branchlets, the proximal with several male flowers, the median bisexual, the distal with solitary female flowers. Fruit capsular, suboblate, smooth. Seeds trigonous, smooth.
