Description: Annual herb, to about 2.5 m tall. Leaves simple, oblong to oblanceolate, (2.5 -) 3 - 10 (- 13) X 0.5 - 1.5 (- 2.2) cm, obtuse or subacute, glabrous or sparsely pubescent above, subsericeous beneath. Inflorescence terminal, racemose, many flowered, flowers bright yellow with dark reddish or brown streaks. Fruits sessile, oblong-cylindrical, 6 - 15 seeded. Seeds obliquely-cordiform, light brown to black.
