Description: Annual, to about 1 m tall, stems erect, 4-angled, pubescent. Leaves simple on short petioles 2-3 mm long, about 1-12 cm long, 0.7-8 cm wide; inflorescences racemose, many flowered; flowers 11-18 mm long on pedicels 3-5 mm long; petals blue, purplish, or white, glabrous; fruit sessile, pubescent, 2.5-3(-5) cm long, 10-12 mm in diameter, 10-16 seeded; seeds yellowish to brown, 3-4.5 mm long, 3-4 mm wide.
