Description: Small to medium-sized tree. Leaves often crowded at ends of branches. Petiole 5 - 20 mm; blade 8 - 15 cm, coriaceous, obovate-oblong; base narrowed and cartilaginous margin; lower face drying dull brown. Panicles about (6) 10 - 20 cm long. Flowers 8 - 10 mm long. Drupe 12 - 20 mm, ovoid, slightly compressed or not, short-acuminate; receptacle cup-shaped, covering one-third of the drupe, narrower than the drupe
