Medium-sized tree. Leaves almost sessile; blades very stiff. Coriaceous, 10 - 15 cm long, broadly obovate; base rounded, slightly auricled; apex rounded. Panicles terminal, about 15 cm long; peduncles glabrous. Flowers 10 mm long. Drupe 12 mm, oblong-ovoid, pointed; receptacle narrower than the drupe.
