Annual herb. Leaves broadly ovate, 0.9 - 2.0 X 1 - 1.8 cm, truncate to subcordate at base, subacute to obtuse at apex, serrate-crenate, glabrous on both surfaces. Flowers axillary and solitary, often in higher axils, and then in a lax, terminal raceme. Capsule obovoid to obconical, 2 - 3 X 1.5 - 3 mm, seeds ovoid, 0.6 - 0.75 mm long, 3-gonous, with thickened margins, brown.
