Description: An erect treelet, 1.5 - 5 m tall. Leaf blade (10-) 14 to about 35 cm long, 2.5 - 8 cm wide, oblong, narrowly elliptical or narrowly obovate, acute at base, mostly acute and frequently short-acuminate at apex, coriaceous, not shining above, glabrous when mature. Flowers green, turning ochraceous yellow, axillary, mostly solitary. Fruitlets short-stipitate and short-apiculate, orange-yellow, smooth and glabrous, often two seeded. Seeds ovoid, slightly compressed laterally, pale reddish-brown, smooth but not glossy.
