Description: A small tree. Leaf blade 5 - 18 cm long, 3 - 7 cm wide, ovate, rarely some elliptical, rounded or truncate, rarely subcordate, not or slightly asymmetrical at base, firmly coriaceous, slightly shining above. Flowers solitary and axillary or several in sessile or shortly peduncled cymes. Fruitlers mostly 1 - 2, 1 - 1.2 cm in diameter, pink-cheeked.
