Description: A rather small shrub, up to 2m high. Leaves narrowly elliptic, 4.5 - 8.5 X 0.7 - 1.5 cm, very cuneate at the base, caudate and obtuse to rounded at the very apex, coriaceous, shining above. Inflorescence umbel-shaped, sessile or with up to 5 mm long primary axes in the leaf axils or occasionally a few inflorescence at the nodes on the branches just below the leaves, flowers blue. Fruit globose, blue to black.
