| Description: |
Tree, up to 7-12 m tall. Leaves up to 50 cm long, alternate, long-petioled, 2 or 3 times compound (odd-pinnate); the leaflets dark green above and lighter green below, margins serrate. Flowers small, five, fragrant; petals, growing in clusters, pale purple or lilac. Fruit is a drupe, marble-sized, light yellow at maturity, hanging on the tree, and gradually becoming wrinkled and almost white.
