Description: A treelet 0.5 - 2 m tall. Leaf blade 5 - 12 cm long, 1.2 - 2.4 cm wide, narrowly elliptical to lanceolate, obtuse or rounded and strongly asymmetrical at base, gradually long-acuminate at apex, thinly coriaceous, not undulate, glabrous above at matuarity, very sparsely pubescent or glabrate on lamina, more densely pubescent on midrib beneath. Flowers pale purple, solitary or paired from a reduced common peduncle not exceeding 1 mm. fruitlets globose, sparsely pubescent or glabrate, shortly stipitate, one or two seeded.
