Description: A large deciduous banyan. Stipules -25 mm long; Lamina 5-12 x 2-6 cm; petiole 25-70 mm long. Figs axillary and on the twigs below the leaves, sessile, ripening pink to purple; body 10-12 mm wide. Male flowers dispersed, few. Gall-flower ovary white, sessile. Female flower ovary white. Lamina with cystoliths, only on the upper side.
