| Description: |
A small tree with dense hemispherical crown bearing upturned leaves, bark grey. All parts glabrous. Leaf lamina 2 - 8 X 1.8 - 5.4 cm, broadly elliptic, ovate, thinly coriaceous and wrinkling on drying, drying pale greenish grey; margin narrowly revolute, base obtuse or subcordate; apex acute or retuse. Flowers pale pink or cream, in very short terminal or subterminal-axillary cymes. Fruit - 18 X 10 mm, urceolate, broadest at base, with apical calyx rim.
