| Description: |
Large tree, - 25 m tall, - 2 m girth, with pale brown shallowly flaking bark. Leaf lamina 5.5 - 10 X 1.8 - 5 cm, elliptic, frequently subplicate, chartaceous or thinly coriaceous, dying lustrous dark olive-brown or chocolate brown beneath; base obtuse or subcordate; margin shallowly subrevolute; apex - 1 cm ling slender acuminate. Cymes - 8 cm long, terminal or axillary; flowers white; calyx small, goblet- shape, with (4-) 5 obscure segments. Fruit - 1 cm diam., globose.
