| Description: |
Large tree, - 40 m tall, -2 m girth, with small narrow buttresses and ribbed pale orange-brown. Young leaves rose-pink turning to olive; mature leaf lamina 2.5 - 7 X 1.5 - 3 cm, narrowly elliptic, thinly coriaceous, drying dull rufous to chocolate-brown beneath, margin hardly or not revolute; base attenuate cuneate. Cymes - 7 cm long, slender, many-flowered, terminal or subterminal-axillary; flowers pale pink, small. Fruit glabrous.
